On August 21th, The Railway and Ro-Ro Shipment Vehicle Logistics Development Seminar was held in Qingdao and itwas organized by the automotive logistics branch of China Federation of Logistics Purchasing. Our company was invited and had sent representatives for the meeting.
The meeting had its gist as “development of multimodal transport and service for vehicle logistics” in order to meet the increasing demand from customers about railway and water transportation of commercial vehicles, adapt to the current logistic enterprise transformation and upgrading of Chinese commercial vehicles and make the realization of low-carbon, green, environmental and low-cost logistic methods. In the meeting, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Information Center, China Federation of Logistics Purchasing, China Railway Engineering Corporation, the National Automobile Standard Committee and the commercial vehicle logistics enterprises made the comprehensive exploration and interactive discussions on the basis of the automotive logistics under the influence of the development tendency of our automobile market, the development policies of our logistics industry and our economic development policies and tendency, the railway operation mode about commercial vehicles, opportunities and challenges of our automotive Ro-Ro transport enterprises, new standards of carrier vehicles and multimodal transport of China automotive logistics. The company representatives made the extensive communication with government agencies, representatives of the industry association and their counterparts. On the mutual cooperation, they made exchanges, got the relevant information and materials and obtained the effect to some degree.
